Oktoberfest at The Red Deer!

We’re diving right into October, kicking it off with our very own Oktoberfest celebration! From Thursday 9th to Saturday 18th October, you’re invited to join us for ten days of German-inspired fun, flowing beer and hearty food!

We’re going all out – expect the bar to be dressed in classic Oktoberfest décor, with our team proudly sporting Pilsner Urquell tees as we toast to this golden lager favourite. Long rows of trestle tables will stretch from end to end, seating up to 120 guests for an atmosphere that’s full of festive cheer.

There’ll be daily bar specials to keep your stein topped up, plus the real highlight of the week: Our ticketed Oompah Band Night on Wednesday 15th October, 7-9pm. Expect Bavarian beats, classic Oktoberfest games, and prizes up for grabs throughout the evening. It’s the perfect excuse to grab your friends, book a table and settle in for a night of Oktoberfest fun.

And it wouldn’t be Oktoberfest without themed food. Our menu is full of Bavarian-inspired dishes that are every bit as indulgent as they should be. From golden-baked pretzel bites and creamy Obatzda to mini schnitzel sliders and Weisswurst skewers drizzled in sweet mustard – perfect for sharing (or not).

For mains, take your pick from a crispy chicken schnitzel bun, a loaded Oktoberfest burger, or the mighty bratwurst hot dog, packed with sauerkraut and mustard. And if you’re here with a crowd, our sharing pork knuckle with sauerkraut and potato salad is a true showstopper.

Finish things off with one of our hand-folded apfelstrudel pies – golden, flaky and just the right amount of sweet. Check out the full menu below!

It’s all delicious, warming and made for enjoying with a stein (or two).
